When going to view a car, ensure that:

1. You have someone with you to give a second opinion
2. Go during broad daylight – darkness and wetness and can hide a mutilude of sins
3. Always meet the seller at their house so you can check they are genuine
4. That all documentation tallies up:
5. That a private seller’s name and address match those in a Registration Document or log book.
6. All the documentation you would expect to find is available such as the Registration Document or log book (V5)
